For my feature artists I'm using models with indie looks similar to my main cover girl, this makes the magazine relate therefore sticks with the magazines genre making the magazine more sell-able to the target market. I've been inspired by many of my research magazines to take a photo-shoot like this one as the popular magazines all had this professional feel to there pictures. I experimented with the photo-shot for my feature artist page to capture a range of different music outlooks.. The setting of the shot ranged from a white backdrop inside to a forest woods at night time. When planning my feature artist page i needed to consider what would work with the cover girl 'glamorous' feel of the cover page. I decided to use the same model to keep the glamour look and genre of the magazine but placed her in different settings to create that indie music vibe i was aiming for. The setting that i felt worked most effectively was the outdoor sunny pictures, i feel they gave off the most indie glamorous combination most effectively. The pictures give off a sunny atmosphere which relates to the title of the magazine 'SUMMERTIME MADNESS' therefore i felt this scenery was most appropriate to my magazine. Examples of the photos from the shoot are below:
