Photo-shoot for magazine- Summertime Madness

Photoshoot inspired by Cara Delevingne female model and singer. Cara gives a rock music look which i feel relates well to my magazine. I feel Cara has inspired me as she relates and has the look that i want my female solo singer 'Ivy willows' to represent.
For my photo shoot i used Abbie Lester as my model to represent Ivy Willows. I used a white backdrop so she stood out and was a central focus. I then changed the lightening in front of her so the light was aimed to the left of her face, this brought out her key features and made the photos stronger. I felt my photo shoot was successful as i felt the photos had a powerful outcome.

Model (For Ivy Willows)- Abbie Lester.

  • I feel Abbie creates the perfect characterises for Ivy willows as she has a indie look naturally, I think this impression is created through her long brown hair and tanned skin. Abbie reflects both indie and  acoustic. Abbie reflects what i want my target audience to look like through fashion sense/style as well as through hair and makeup.
  • Using abbie as my artist, will mean she will feel and look comfortable in clothes and make up that she is used to wearing. This will give the shoot a more relax effect as abbie will feel comfortable playing the part of Ivy Willows.
  • By using Abbie as my artist the target audience 16-25 will be drawn to the magazine and they will feel like they can relate to abbie through the way she is dressed and the image that she reflects.
  • By using Abbie as my model means the audiences will identify the genre of the magazine through Abbies look/style. This will also reflect a 'type' of genre that will be aimed at individuals.
